This is for a small PRO mk2 Happy Hull boat hull protector. It is suitable for boats ranging:

BEAM up to: 2.8m / 9’ 2″ft
LENGTH up to: 7-7.4m / 23-24ft
Suitable Boat Examples: Karnic CS700 / Zodiac 650

External Happy Hull measurements:

WIDTH: 3.3m / 10’ 8″ft

LENGTH: 7.9m / 25’ 11″ft

There are 2 options of Happy Hull designs to choose from:

‘Standard Monohull’ – This is for your typical single boat hull shape
‘Custom shape, catamarans or trimarans’ – This option covers multihull vessels (e.g. Catamaran, Trimaran etc) or a custom shape

The mk2 improvements over the mk1 include:

Upgraded material has additional UV protection built it.
New material has antimicrobial properties to reduce marine growth forming on the underside of the Happy hull.
Extra mooring eyelets
Flotation material can now be adjusted to suit different hull shapes and replaced, if necessary.
Breather hole located in the bow section to allow inflation of the Happy Hull to allow for easy topside cleaning.

Bought this in May 2024, and think it’s brilliant. We are a Happy customer.

I think Happy Hull is a great product and I love the name too. Such a simple, practical and robust solution to the problem of boat hull fouling when moored.

Marine foul on my hull is Something I have really wanted to solve as a problem for years. Nothing made any sense to me. Dry docks, anti foul (poor marine life) and the phaff and costs of reapplying not to mention speed reduction and fuel use increase and the one way street nature of applying Anti Foul to a never anti fouled hull. Then there is the need to drag the boat out and jet wash it all off regularly and usually when the weather is more suited to using the boat not working on it !

So now for me……yippee…..No more jet washing the hull, no more fuel use increase, no speed reduction and no more anti foul (which the marine life are very happy about too) AND….now I don’t stress about it getting a dirty hull just sitting in the water when I’m not using it.
Of course , I suppose other soft benefits are there too, like my stern drive isn’t in the water nor are the bellows and no salt water electrolysis circuits being created rotting my electrical wires away due to it not actually being in the water anymore when not in use? And I guess no worries about osmosis on the hull either. Just a thought as I was writing this. Nice to know.

It also works for me well because I can drag it out and pack it away in the winter (being a summer boating person), where as a plastic floating dock system would be very hard to do that with.

Service wise, Rory and the team are a delight to deal with, they installed the Happy Hull quickly and professionally and stayed with us for an hour to berth and un berth a few times to ensure we knew how it worked and were, well, Happy :). And I have to say, overall, having one of these in your berth makes for much easier docking too. The boat glides in to the berth and the Happy Hull being there prevents the boat from drifting left or right.

In summary, great product and service, and now for me, it’s no more marine growth , no more anti foul, no more planning in of jet washing the bottom regularly and more boating fun with a little less boating work and worry. Thanks Rory and Happy Hull.

Excellent Friendly service from Rory and Simon who installed the Happy Hull for My Regal 23 OBX in Toquay Marina.
I’ve left doing my review for a few weeks as I wanted to see how and if this system actually works. I’ve been on and off the Happy Hull a few times now and I have to be honest. ITS BRILLIANT!! The boat glides on and off with absolute ease. It also helps keep the boat from wondering out of position while you tie it to the dock. We had a plastic drive on dock previously with our slightly smaller Regal 2100 which was a disaster because of the stepped Hull catching on the joints on all the cubes causing damage to the gel coat.
This is what sold it to me.
1/ easy to stow away when not in use.
2/ no damage to hull when going on and off.
3/ Quick and simple when finished for a day out.
4/ bright yellow so easy to find your berth.
5/ you don’t know it’s there when sat at the berth so not sitting on the boat up in the air all lopsided.
All in all my boat and I are very happy so far. 😁

I had a happy hull installed in April.
It is a fantastic system, does what it says in the box. Easy to use and keeps the build up of marine growth at bay. Rory and the team at HH very helpful, and the installation went well. They have been available to assist in my moving berths, and to answer all of my questions.
Totally recommended.

Great product with great support.
I bought Happy Hull a year ago and it has performed as hoped. It's great not to worry about weed growth, which is unattractive and adversely affects performance and economy.
The material is unaffected by the aluminium hull on my XO, which was one of my concerns.
I have just taken the boat ashore and all the anodes are fine and won't need replacing - another saving.

Rory from Happy Hull went over and above in the level of service I expected.
I was unable to attend when they fitted the hull but that was no problem for Rory. He took care of everything, sending me photo updates and even a drone timelapse of the whole process!
The hull of my boat was absolutely plastered with marine life and although they recommend getting the hull cleaned before fitting the cover, within a week the effectiveness of the product was evident by the smell of the now dead/dying residents of my hull. Needless to say I have had the hull cleaned since and so far, the cover is working perfectly.
As a bonus, it really helps docking as once on, my boat moves far less laterally than it did before and has made the docking process much less stressful.
100% recommendation from me.

I installed a Happy Hull for my Axopar 28 earlier this year and it's more than lived up to my expectations.

Firstly the goal was to eradicate growth on the hull and maximise performance which has worked just as I expected. I recently lifted the boat out for a service and the hull was entirely free from any barnacles or growth.

The added benefit though for me has been that the hull protector makes bringing my boat onto berth so much easier. The process of driving onto the hull protector helps hold the boat straight even in a cross wind and as you are almost fully in position there is enough natural drag/friction to hold you in place. I can crew solo in any conditions without any concerns about getting back onto berth alone.

We were looking for an alternative on water dock solution for our 28ft motor boat and came across Happy Hull. Rory and the team have been superb from start to finish - from ordering to installation which took less than an hour.

I was amazed how quickly it can all be put together, how easy it is to get the boat on and off and not to mention all the benefits the Happy Hull gives. Very happy with the product and the team - would highly recommend it especially for medium to larger sized boats.

I am very impressed with the quality of this product and how it has made having a boat permanently in the water a pleasure and not a pain. No Antifoul.
